Best food we had the whole time in Puerto Peñasco! Don't waste your time going to the tourist trap areas. This is legitimate, authentic, and amazing Mexican food! If you love Birria, you have to try it! If you've never had birria, double that sentiment! I recommend the Birria quesadillas! Pro tip, order them rojas. They cook them in the birria sauce, and it's amazing! The owner speaks English and is very friendly. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

La mejor Birria de Puerto Peñasco, si en realidad conoces la birria esto es birria no chingaderas. Tacos rojos, quezabirrias, plato de birria, consomé, tacos de chicharrón rojos o regularles. Tu lo loses, El Capi lo hace. The best birria (Mexican style beef stew) in Puerto Peñasco. Birria is a famous Mexican dish, you can order beef stew or red tacos and quesadillas made with the stew meat and crisped to perfection with all the flavors of the stew. You will not be disappointed. We come here very year and it never disappoints, Birrieria El Capi 2 now open.

Came here on recommendation from a local. I had 3 Birria tacos which were delicious. The service was great and they spoke English well enough to communicate effectively. Service was very quick, and for a party of 6 we had our food within 10 minutes. The only complaint I have is the abundance of flies which were impossible to avoid.

Great restaurant. Small and humble, in the middle of a neighborhood. Family owned and operated. The Birria was delicious. The flour tortillas were hot and fresh and the service was perfect. The kind of place you go to a avoid Gringos. We'll be back
